Funny things happen in my life and I'm normally completely ok with those. But yesterday, when I sprained my neck, I was shocked that THIS could ever happen to me. The story goes like this: I woke up in an evil Monday morning at the time that I normaly woke up and feeling alright just like I usually do. Then I decided to go have a shower to clean myself. As I was rinsing my hair, I turned my head slightly. I have to say, this was very very minor, gentle turn, but guess what's next, duhhhh, Ouch! I struggled to finish off my shower in this pain and lied in bed for 45 mins before I decided to call my boss to tell him I'm not going to work. He suggested me to put some heat pad on and relax, and of course go to doctor if it's still hurting after several hours. I did the heat pad thing and lied for another good 2 hours maybe. It did help a lot. At least it wasn’t' hurting if I didn't try to move my neck to the right any more. I talked to several friends and complained about this shit and got some good laugh. Errrrr…. Cold blooded friends!

The afternoon was better. I finally left the bed, played game a bit and won something. This does make me feel better, but not a whole lot. I took another nap and woke up and found that my neck can be turned sligtly without feeling pain. It was a good start. As today's morning, my neck is still in pain if I try to move it too much. But I can feel it's getting better cuz I can turn bigger and bigger angle without feeling pain…… Driving to work becomes a kinda painful experience as I turned right to check traffic every time. :( But I really don't want to miss another day of work because of this stupid thing, just in case I need my sick days for more stupid things in the future!

Life is full of surprises…. Yea…..

P.S. tomorrow is my official 25th birthday...... fuck that.....
